SKA NORDMARK PROHIBITS BULLYING AND HARASSMENT OF ALL INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS.
Participants engaging in this behavior are subject to appropriate sanctions.
If you experience harassment, bullying, or retaliation for a previous report, or if you become aware that someone is being harassed or bullied, contact a seneschal or autocrat.
Within SKA Nordmark:
● No one should feel offended, harassed, or discriminated against.
● No one should feel uncomfortable based on gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, political affiliation, religious affiliation, or disability.
● No form of harassment, discrimination, or bullying is accepted.
Bullying and harassment may include but are not limited to:
● Offensive or rude verbal or written comments directed at an individual.
● Display of explicit images (drawing or photo) depicting a person in an inappropriate manner.
● Photographing or recording individuals with the purpose of abusing or harassing them.
● Inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention, or retaliation for reporting harassment and/or bullying.
● Unwanted behavior based on gender, sexual orientation, disability, or affiliation.
The hallmark of bullying and harassment is that the person experiencing it perceives it as unwanted behavior. The one who has been subjected has what is called interpretive precedence, meaning the experience of the victim counts, not the motive of the harasser.
Failure to comply with this may result in suspension from the event, future events, and in some cases, the association as a whole.
